Friends,
What a blessing to be in worship this morning! And what a blessing to have my grandparents take part. In my sermon I wanted to challenge us to look at the three basic statements of the master (Jesus) in this passage in Mark. These are: 1) I’m leaving, 2) I’m coming back, 3) Be faithful and do what you are supposed to until I return. From there I believe we need to be looking for and receptive to the presence of Christ coming into our lives this Christmas season. It may happen in a variety of ways, and when we miss these blessings, it is almost always because we were not looking for them. Please remember that I will have a book out next week for you to write down and share when Christmas happens for you.

hey Good afternoon!! its a gloomy rainy afternoon but we need the rain and so i cain’t complain…oh yeah this was a beautiful sermon…… ok yes we need to live and in knowing that Christ left and is coming back and with us Christians oh what a glorious day that will be. but as for the non Christians that is where we need to help we need to go out tell the good news and get them in the life of Jesus and to come to know Him.. I am all about trying to and want to do that and so should you!!!! This month I am just gonna go with the flow I am not gonna make a schedule. I also want to say that Christmas has happened and i just finally realized it. I am and have been around the people that Love me and those who are loved by me. I feel that the true meaning of Christmas has long been lost by many. People worry and get caught upin what to get this person and that person. I feel and wish that people would stop and remember the true meaning of Christmas and take one person that they dearly care for and instead of buying something go to them give them the gift of lovelet them know how much you care for them. I also want to say that Christ was born with a pure heart and humbled himself by laying in a manger so I want to follow his example and hope you will too!!! Also counting the number of family members you have and not the number of gifts u get. It’s about love not greed, showing appreciation for what you have instead of lusting after the things you want. But most of all and most importantly its about Jesus’s Birth!!!
